The front desk staff were either incompetent or not interested in our repeated requests to be picked up from our room at

For a start it’s not the Westin, it’s the Sheraton. They’ve just started calling this the Westin online as the Westin is going through a renovation.

Food & drinks were very expensive & not particularly great. Despite being touted as five star,there wasn’t even a microwave in our room. The power kept cutting out during the night which isn’t a good feeling when you rely on a cpap machine & we had two extra guests in our room COCKROACHES!!

The big room with frontal Seaview

The windows had only shutters for darkness. They let to much light in at night. Blackout curtains would be much better. The light from the garden or beachfront disturbed our sleep.

Loved Everything. It was excellent had the most wonderful time, you could call our trip a late honeymoon and the Spa Suite with plunge pool was the most perfect room for the occasion. The suite was equipped with two people in mind. The extras included like two toothbrushes and shaving gear in the bathroom were thoughtful. Plunge pool was quite big and deep, photos don’t do it justice. Staff were excellent they go above and beyond. The whole place was very clean and the facilities were excellent. During the whole trip I visited four resorts in total and Westin was the best. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT FOR ANYBODY VISITING FIJI. The shower in my room consisted of three shower heads - my husband and I did not have to fight over who would go first :)

The location is good.

During the heavy rain water was leaking from the fire sprinkler system connection to the roof. There were big lizards in the room and they were making too much noise during the night, very unpleasant and not good for a 5 star rated accommodation.

We had a seafront room which was fabulous. The bed is so so comfy I could have taken it home. The staff are all so very happy and friendly and helpful too. A lovely place to base yourself too if island visits are on the agenda as the port is only minutes away.

WOW WOW WOW. WHERE TO START. The most incredible stay at a resort we've ever had. The staff were sensational from the moment we arrived in the taxi to the moment we left in the taxi. Always there to make sure your every need was catered for, always smiling, always saying BULA! Just world class customer service and made to feel part of the family, as we say here in New Zealand part of the Whanau. We unfortunately had a room with an adjoining door next to a room of lads on tour but the incredible staff swiftly moved us to another room on the other side of the resort which was very very appreciated. Me and my wife seriously can not fault any part of this trip/stay at the Westin. The room was incredible. So spacious. So comfortable. So homely. Incredible sized TV. Great selection of teas and fresh plunger coffee (a must for me as a Wellington barista) beautiful bathroom/vanity area. Incredible views on the ground floor of the ocean and the tropical garden. THE BUFFET BREAKFAST - genuinely speechless. Fresh fruit, fresh cooked meat, fresh baked pastries, fresh pancakes, omelette making station, fresh blended smoothies, fresh juice, fresh coffee and more tea. You can't get more FRESH then that! Haha. All the restaurants at both the Westin and Sheraton resorts were world class. Pricey, but what you'd expect for staying at 5 star resorts. Once again we couldnt fault any of them. We had lunch/dinner at most of them and also enjoyed cocktails from the kitchen grill at bula hour while watching the sunset. Priceless. MAKE SURE YOU PRE-BOOK FOR DINNER. Swimming pools and facilities at the Westin resort were incredible. So clean, safe, family friendly, couple friendly. Great for those beautifully hot and humid Fiji island days. So as you can tell from this review. We had the time of our lives and seriously I mean this. We didn't want to leave. My wife cried in the taxi on the way to the airport.

Adjoining room. Unfortunately had an adjoining room next to a room of lads on tour. But the incredible staff swiftly sorted a move to a different room on the other side of the resort for us. Aircon system in the room was quite loud. But we switched it off during the night as once the room was cool, it stayed cool.

Beautiful pools and setting, super friendly staff, great location (loved that there is a Bula Bus between Sheraton and Westing for tired kids after a days swimming!) Clean rooms, couldn’t ask for better!

Buzzy atmosphere. Resort looks very much as you'd hope from Fiji.

We booked a room with an ocean view, however fine print says it's actually a partial view. Should be much clearer when booking. We asked for a king bed but room came with two small doubles, bit close for comfort in the heat. They offered to move us the next day, but then said they had no spare rooms even though they obviously did. Rooms very dark and gloomy. I've been fortunate to stay in lot of 5 star hotels, this isn't quite there - despite the rating.

The location is good near the airport and port of Denarau

The room rate was over charged due to wrong calculation (even including surcharge of credit card fees) when I checked in. The staff asked me if to cancel or to keep the payment. I said you can keep it if the net-off or refund process is easy when checking out. The answer from the staff was yes. However, it took me 1 hour to talk with the staff when checking out as they said the refund process is difficult and complex. Finally they can only refund me the accommodation overcharge, but not the surcharge of the credit card fee. Now I have returned back for 4 days, no any update received from the hotel and no one said sorry to me for this. I even have to bear the loss of 3% fees of the overcharged amount. The overall feeling in the hotel is not good from check in to check out. The service of the staff looks like in a 3-star hotel. Food and service below average. Once for a dinner, I even didn't get the plate and fork while the dishes already came, and a big stone salt hurt my teeth. I have paid much more for Westin than another hotel InterContinental that i lived in days ago, while what i got from here was less than 50% of that from InterContinental where the staff and service are over expected. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

A really nice family resort in a nice location with excellent amenities including shops on site. The staff were wonderful and friendly and nothing. Was too much trouble.

Food service could be a little slow and there was an odd rule that beach towels had to be returned at 7pm each night or you incurred at $30 fee. These were small details in the scheme of things.

We enjoyed the views from the beachfront rooms. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was good. The pool is quite nice too, bring as there isn't really any beach to swim in.
